1st/2nd Grade Teacher

### Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary School Teacher to join our team. As an Elementary School Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students. You will develop and implement lesson plans, assess student progress, and provide guidance and support to help students reach their full potential.

### Duties:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with curriculum standards
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and participation
- Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles
- Assess student progress through regular assignments, tests, and projects
- Provide individualized support and intervention to students who may be struggling academically or behaviorally
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement strategies for student success
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and behavior
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and any concerns or issues that may arise

### Skills:
- Childcare: Ability to create a safe and nurturing environment for students
- Early intervention: Knowledge of early intervention strategies to support students' academic and social-emotional development
- Curriculum development: Experience in developing engaging and effective lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
- Working with autism: Familiarity with strategies for working with students on the autism spectrum
- Math: Proficiency in teaching elementary-level math concepts
- Classroom management: Ability to effectively manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment
- Library services: Knowledge of library resources and the ability to incorporate them into lessons
- Proofreading: Attention to detail in reviewing student work for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors
- Lesson planning: Ability to plan engaging lessons that meet the needs of diverse learners
- Behavior management: Skill in implementing behavior management strategies to promote positive behavior in the classroom
