Job Summary
The School Principal serves as the educational leader and chief administrator of the school, responsible for ensuring a safe and productive learning environment. This role requires a dynamic leader who can inspire staff, engage students, and foster a culture of academic excellence. The Principal will oversee the day to day operations of the school. Finally, the most important aspect of the principal will be to be the spiritual leader of our Christian school. The person will need to be knowledgeable of Reformed faith and believe in a young earth viewpoint.
Duties
- Lead and manage the school’s educational programs to ensure high-quality instruction and student achievement.
- Develop and implement strategic plans that align with the school's mission and goals.
- Supervise faculty and staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their professional development
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and refine curriculum that meets state standards and addresses student needs.
- Engage with parents, community members, and stakeholders to promote fundraising initiatives and community involvement.
- Monitor student progress through assessments and evaluations, making data-driven decisions to improve educational practices.
- Ensure a safe and inclusive school environment that supports the social, emotional, and academic growth of all students.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in education administration or a related field.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
- Experience working with students in a classroom setting is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of budgeting principles and financial management in an educational context.
- Proficient in strategic planning processes to drive school improvement initiatives.
- Familiarity with curriculum development practices that foster student engagement and learning.
