JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
Responsible for agency quality and compliance management, human resource and workforce support, and organizational development. Performs highly responsible administrative duties in collaboration with various agency staff to manage and coordinate organization-wide efforts to ensure that all program compliance and organizational development needs are met. In addition, coordinates performance management programs, quality improvement projects, and accreditation deliverables are developed, managed and practiced using data-driven focus. Implements goals and objectives as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in finance, business, human resources, public administration, public health, community health, nursing, environmental health, or related field required with 7 years’ of full-time experience or a Master’s degree plus 2 years of full-time experience. Must have thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local laws as pertains to assigned compliance and regulations. Must have knowledge of personnel management, fiscal management, public health law and regulations, and administrative aspects of public health resource management. Knowledge of Public Health Accreditation process, PHAB, public health organizations and programs, and the performance management cycle is required. Must have successfully completed the Public Health Accreditation Board training or have the ability to complete the training within 6 months of hire. Knowledge of Performance Management and Quality Improvement process tools. Additionally, understanding of system of change approach is addressing agency and community needs. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with the media and in front of large groups of diverse people. Writes memos, job descriptions, policies and related human resources documents. Prepares spreadsheets for data collection and analysis. Must have prior program management experience, including planning and budgeting. Must have excellent decision-making, and critical thinking skills. Ability to handle multiple projects at the same time. Knowledge and ability to utilize computers and related technology efficiently, including but not limited to: Windows-based operating systems; Microsoft Office software such as Word, Outlook, and Excel; Presentation software such as PowerPoint and Canva. Familiarity with collaboration software such as SharePoint preferred. Must have the ability to develop positive internal and external working relationships. Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality.
