What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assembly Inspector position at Peoria Production Shop?

Title: Assembly Quality Inspector
Brief Description: Performs detailed inspections in the Assembly and Sewing areas as per ISO Standards
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Completes inspections for each job by following the IPIR process and WI Safety Guidelines
- Examine work for exactness, neatness and conformance
- Communicates with Supervisor when a nonconformance is indicated
- Completes Inspector's Daily Report
- Other duties as assigned.
Strength/Physical Demands:
- Stand on your feet for 8 hours or more.
- Ability to stand, bend and lift.
- May lift or move 10 pounds with occasional lifting up to 20 pounds.
Work Conditions:
- Fast-paced work environment.
- Willing to work 40 hours per week.
- Work with limited supervision and follow detailed instructions.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must be certified as an In-Process Inspector
- Ability to communicate with others
- Ability to handle pressure and conflict
- Skill to work in team environment
- Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with other employees
Education/Experience
- Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)
- High school diploma or GED.
- Pass the In-Process Inspection Quiz
