Overview
We are seeking an organized and professional Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our team. Our Receptionist needs to manage our front desk on a daily basis and perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our firm. Our Receptionist’s duties include offering administrative support across the organization. You will coordinate front-desk activities, including distributing correspondence and redirecting all phone calls to appropriate staff member. Our Receptionist should have a pleasant personality towards all callers and visitors, as this is also a customer service role.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
- Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
- Ensure reception area and conference room are tidy and presentable, and ensure bathrooms and kitchen are well-stocked
- Collect and distribute all incoming mail
- Assisting other staff members with tasks as requested
- Keep inventory of office supplies for the West Ashley office
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing and photocopying
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned
Skills
- Experience in front desk operations or as an office clerk is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in all tasks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Familiarity with phone systems for managing incoming calls efficiently.
- Previous experience in a law firm is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Ability to problem-solve and think in your feet.
- Team player.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
