Duties
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Support the budgeting process by providing relevant data and insights to facilitate effective financial planning.
- Oversee payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate compensation for employees.
- Maintain accurate records of debits and credits, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather necessary information for financial reporting and forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with SOX regulations by implementing and monitoring internal controls.
- Participate in audits and assist in preparing documentation required for external auditors.
- Contribute to the development of financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including GAAP and IFRS.
- Experience with governmental accounting practices is preferred.
