What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Training Facilitator position at Peppermill Resort Hotel?
The HR Training Facilitator is responsible for educational programs and activities related to training and development. Develops curriculum, materials and conducts training programs. This position must be able to travel between Reno and Sparks.
Duties:
- Develops and facilitates employee and leadership training and development programs for various Peppermill properties.
- Coordinates and monitors Peppermill training programs including but not limited to leadership skills, guest service, new hire orientation and safety related training courses.
- Assist with the data entry and records management system for completed or outstanding training courses.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of leadership and staff within the organization.
- Maintains that department needs are met by fulfilling weekly orders and ensuring inventory levels are satisfied.
- Manages special projects as needed.
- Assists in all areas of human resources.
Qualifications:
- Human Resources experience preferred.
- Previous training and development presentation experience preferred.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, expressing ideas clearly, and actively listening to thoughts and ideas of others.
- Must be able to relate well with employees at all levels and be able to resolve issues with managers and employees.
- Must be computer literate and have hands-on knowledge of MS Office software.
- Bi-lingual capabilities in English/Spanish preferred.
- Must have excellent organization and time management skills.
- Must be flexible and able to handle multiple priorities, with the ability to adjust to high pressure and rapidly changing business conditions.
