Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking a Sr. Innovation Manager to join our team in Raleigh, NC.

PepsiCo has a 125-year plus legacy as a global leader in convenient foods and beverages. We represent Suntory’s non-alcoholic beverage industry in the United States and have an 80-year plus legacy of providing PepsiCo products to the Carolinas and beyond.
What We Do
We make, sell, and distribute PepsiCo and more beverages. We have the exclusive rights to make, sell, and distribute directly to stores in our territory the world-renowned PepsiCo and Keurig Dr. Pepper beverages. These exclusive rights make up the vast majority of our business and cover certain counties across five states.
We also create our own beverages, producing and distributing them to our customers’ warehouses nationally. And we make, sell, and distribute to our customers’ warehouses a growing portfolio of beverages nationally. These beverages make up a small, but growing part of our business.

Develop, implement, execute PBVs core brands and overall marketing strategies to ensure maximized growth and profitability. Drive profitable market share. Plan and oversee the development of Account Specific Programs for assigned segments of business which support PBVs P&L and AOP Big bets. Maximize Media, Social and Digital platforms and budgets to insulate and grow brand health equity. Help grow the overall business by ensuring maximum execution against new product initiatives.

Sr. Innovation Manager Role Overview

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Coordinates new product and packaging planning with appropriate contacts.
- Develops and launches marketing plans for new products to ensure their success.
- Works with the Director of Marketing to develop a quarterly strategy for new products.
- Forecasts, tracks, and analyzes results of new products in the market to ensure profitability.
- Ensures strong launch plans are established for new products to ensure their success.
- Supports Channel Directors and KAMs with new product sell-in efforts.
- Develops sponsorship, prestige, and cause related marketing.
- Engages with Channel Directors, Key Account Managers, and National JACT teams to enhance local marketing activation.
- Key contributor to building Marketing and Media 3–5-year strategy planning, development, and implementation.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing or related field or 5-10 years of relevant work experience.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in the bottling industry or marketing field dealing with customers using verbal, written and telephone skills, including written and oral presentations required.
- Valid Driver’s License required. Must have prior experience making professional business presentations.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze, evaluate and incorporate information into an execution plan for new products and packages required.
- Must have demonstrated computer literacy including the ability to modify and create Microsoft Word documents, PowerPoint presentations and Excel spreadsheets.
- Must be able to multi-task and prioritize.
- Must have a high attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills required.
- Must be able handle high pressure and high-profile events in a professional and effective manner.
- Able to travel up to 30%.
- Must be able to meet PBV driving qualifications.
- Must be able to work the hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.
- Starting salary for this position is set based on location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education. Your recruiter will share more about the specific pay range for this position during the interview process.
