POSITION SUMMARY:
The Supply Chain Supervisor is responsible for planning and executing supply planning, Production scheduling, product deployments and transportation activities.
REPRESNTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following responsibilities are general duties that a particular employee in this position may or may not be required to perform. The actual duties required of this position will vary.
- Plans, manages, and coordinates all activities related to the sourcing and procurement of necessary manufacturing materials and supplies needed to meet the changing levels of product demand.
- Plan and schedule purchased product orders for multiple distribution centers.
- Plan and schedule internal production plans in accordance with sales forecasts and on hand inventory, following established inventory guidelines.
- Works with plant, warehouse, and logistics departments to determine and set up intercompany transfers.
- Build collaborative relationships with internal cross functional departments (Manufacturing, Warehouse, Sales) and external suppliers.
- Maintain proper inventory days of supply in all distribution centers.
- Deploy and re-deploy product as needed to satisfy internal demand.
- Coordinate with internal and external transportation teams.
- Identify supply issues. Develop and execute corrective actions.
- Develop inbound/outbound delivery schedules.
- Provide analytical support for the Supply Chain group.
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
- 2 years minimum experience in supply chain, logistics or warehouse management
- Proficient in MS Excel to include statistical analysis, data collection, charts and pivot tables
- Computer literate in Word and PowerPoint.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Detail-oriented with good analytical skills.
