We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Barback to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. The Barback plays a crucial role in supporting bartenders by ensuring the bar is well-stocked, clean, and organized. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in nightlife settings and are eager to learn about the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist bartenders in serving drinks and customers efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all surfaces are clean and free of clutter.
• Stock and replenish supplies such as liquor, beer, wine, garnishes, and glassware as needed.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and assist with cash handling procedures.
• Communicate effectively with bartenders and other staff to ensure smooth operations during busy shifts.
• Support food preparation and handling as required during events or peak hours.
• Assist with catering services or banquet setups when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to food handling.

Skills

• Experience in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers.
• Knowledge of POS systems for processing orders is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Familiarity with food handling practices and safety standards.
• A keen eye for cleanliness and attention to detail in maintaining the bar area.
• Willingness to learn about drink preparation and hospitality best practices.
