Enterprise Services Engineer
About the Role
We are seeking an Enterprise Services Engineer to provide engineering and integration activities to support enterprise computing, data storage, data transport, and system management services in a secure, flexible, distributed architecture.
Responsibilities
- Provide service information including capacity, availability, and health, system and device information, software and license consumption, user entitlements, component relationships, service inter-dependencies, status of compliance, lab services, and support lifecycles
- Produce and deliver Information Dashboard and Reporting Services Service Design Packages and associated Design Artifacts
- Identify holistic informational views of production and connected enclave and/or lab environments and services to include discoverable and non-discoverable information
- Identify solutions for presentation of service information from existing enterprise data sources including systems such as SharePoint metadata, application data fields, Active Directory, Exchange, and databases
- Identify extensible capabilities to include future additional data sources and reporting for new service requirements
Requirements
- BS and 8 years of experience, MS and 6 years of experience, PhD 0-2; additional 4 years in lieu of degree
- Active TS/SCI clearance is required
- Working knowledge of SharePoint metadata, application data fields, Active Directory, Exchange, databases, and other systems and services
- Understanding of both physical and virtual infrastructure hosting one or more Operating Systems: Windows, Linux, Solaris, UNIX, and/or AIX systems
- Must have a current DoD 8570.1-M IAT Level II certification (i.e., Security CE)
Desired Qualifications
- ITIL Foundations certification desired
