What are the responsibilities and job description for the Solutions Architect - Infrastructure position at Perceptive Recruiting, LLC?
Infrastructure Solutions Architect position is open in Greenville for a hybid (3 days on site, 2 days remote) self-starter to provide solution consulting to its clients. This person will be required to lead client assessments or technical discovery as a way to understand their IT infrastructure environment, gaps, and then design solutions using IT templates. You will be responsible for quality assurance after team implementation to ensure that designs meet client expectations.
This position requires excellent customer interfacing skills, with a broad experience in all infrastructure to understand a current set up vs a "best practices" set up within a small to large enterprise environment of up to 500 users. Direct hire position!
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- 8 years of experience in enterprise infrastructure
- Effectiveness communicating technical concepts to non-technical clients
- Experience analyzing business requirements and selecting the optimal IT infrastructure
- Expert understanding of networking concepts (such as DNS, DHCP, SNAT, DNAT, VLAN, file and print services, etc).
- Experience configuring and supporting enterprise firewalls, routers, switches and access points (Fortinet or Meraki desired)
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365 and Azure
- Experience with scripting and automation
- Experience with server architecture and services (virtualization, Active Directory, file / print, IIS, SQL, etc.)
- Solid understanding of backup, disaster recovery solutions, EDR, SIEM solutions
- Knowledge of IT security threats, mitigation strategies, IT trends
- Able to go onsite as needed for in-person prospect and client meetings
