About the role
Knowledge:
- Understands and can articulate & critically analyze the target market size, potential segments and impacts on commercial strategy.
- Understands and stays current with market requirements: jobs, pains and gains of key personas.

- Promotes the application of generic and specific body knowledge in own organization.
- Develops own business knowledge of the activities and practices of own organization and those of suppliers, partners competitors.
Customer ROI and
Willingness to Pay:
- Works with BD and Sales Op teams to identify and analyze potential opportunities to drive NBA and profitability.
- Successfully promotes business services and solutions and successfully influences customer to engage in them.
- Contributes to the financial analysis of a customer’s ROI and the design of willingness to pay studies.
Develop Product
Messaging:
- Supports the development of the value proposition canvas into appropriate messaging such as, but limited to, Value Proposition and tailored for regional and client need.
- Provides feedback to and works with product managers when deciding on which market problems to address including Statement, Value Drivers, and individual benefits tied to features.
Buyers’ Journeys:
- Supports creation of the buyer’s journey for each buyer persona and recommends solutions/strategies in which to address opportunities.
Go-to-market plan(s):
- Documents target market and segments.
- Supports development of the marketing campaigns and tactics that map to buyer’s journeys and ensures all key KPI are considered and wherever possible mitigated.
- Supports engagement with external key opinion leaders and internal subject matter experts to produce content that is relevant to the go to market plan
Enable our sales
channels:
- Understands and supports our sales channels.
- Provides regular insights to all sales and other relevant teams on the problems we solve for our buyers and users.
- Collaborates with all sales and other relevant teams to develop internal tools and external collateral and teaches them how and when to use it.
Launch new offerings:
- Supports the planning and launch of net-new products and releases of existing products.
- Supports the cross-functional and multi-region implementation of the rollout plan.
Measure Performance:
- Analyzes formal (win-loss analysis, user interviews, etc), and informal (CRM data, sales meetings, etc) market feedback.
- Compares and analyzes actual results to projections.
- Assesses, tracks and reports progress against Go-to-market plan.
- Works with relevant teams to ensures that plans are delivered in a timely manner and in line with establish KPI’s that includes client satisfaction.
- Shares findings, update buyers’ journeys and the go-to-market plan
Relationship
Management:
- Supports the development of comprehensive stakeholder management strategies and plans.
- Builds long-term, relationships with stakeholders (internal and external).
- Facilitates the engagement of stakeholders and delivery of services and change projects, acting as a point of contact for stakeholders, facilitating relationships between them.
- Negotiates to ensure that stakeholders understand and agree what will meet their needs, and that appropriate agreements are defined.
- Supports actions to improve relations and open communications with and between stakeholders.
- Translates communications/stakeholder engagement activities into specific activities and deliverables.
- Deals with problems and issues, managing resolutions, corrective actions, lessons learned and the collection and dissemination of relevant information.

Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Demonstratable ability to apply critical thinking to problems and tasks and actively contributes to thought leadership internally and externally of the organisation
- Contributes to build and maintenance of an effective skills improvement training programme and encourages active participation
- Maintains an up-to-date awareness of trends, tools, technology, techniques and processes with the marketing environment and ideally their effect on the Life sciences domain
- A self-starter and able to work under own initiative
- Intermediate level experience in Microsoft packages including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Outlook
Knowledge and Experience:
- Proven experience of working with CRM and collaboration tools
- Proven experience of working with data analysis tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI) in the life sciences industry
- Extensive professional experience in the same or very similar role
- Experience of working in clinical research, pharmaceuticals, or biotech
- Relevant experience in product marketing, product management, strategic marketing, or related roles preferred
- Experience in working in a team environment and making timely decisions under uncertainty
- Demonstrable experience in financial and market modeling to describe market opportunity
- Must be a strong public speaker, comfortable in front of groups
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, physical sciences, or related field
