What are the responsibilities and job description for the Estimator position at Percopo Coatings Company, LLC?
The position will provide accurate quantity takeoffs and under specific deadlines using estimating software. Managing the estimating and pricing schedule meeting deadlines for a Large Regional Specialty Contractor that performs Commercial and Industrial Painting and Coatings, Waterproofing, Resinous Flooring and Fireproofing.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Prepare quantity estimates for job opportunities Analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare quantities for pricing by project managers and executives. Prepare information used for management purposes, such as planning, organizing, and scheduling work. Work with management to ensure reasonable and competitive quotes are given on a timely basis Review estimates with the Field Operations Department on a regular basis to ensure accurate analysis of cost of materials and labor Professional demeanor always Effective interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. Knowledge Proficient in Excel (Mandatory), Word and estimating software. Proficient and good working understanding of all around Computer Skills and ability to work in scale. Ability to gather appropriate information in a timely manner, task management.
Construction Estimating:
Experience with Construction Estimating Software such as On Center/ On Screen Takeoff, Plan Swift or similar (preferred)
