We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our Immigration Court Team! The ideal candidate will have experience in immigration law and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. You will support attorneys by preparing legal documents, organizing case files, and assisting with case management throughout the immigration court process.

Qualifications
- At least one year of court immigration experience is required.
- Knowledge of immigration law, including asylum, removal defense, and family-based immigration.
- Strong familiarity with immigration court procedures, forms, and legal documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a high caseload, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and writing in Spanish and English is required.
- Must be able to function effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent client service and interpersonal skills.
- Good problem solving and analysis skills required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys with the completion and filing of immigration court applications, motions, and other legal documents.
- Organize and maintain client files, ensuring all case documentation is up to date and complies with court requirements.
- Communicate with clients, government agencies, and opposing counsel to gather documents, schedule hearings, and follow up on case progress.
- Maintain case files in accordance to overseeing policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Prepare and review affidavits, declarations, and other supporting documents for submission to the court.
- Monitor case deadlines and ensure compliance with all legal and court requirements.
- Work well under deadlines, handle confidential information with professionalism, and display strong interpersonal skills.
- Possess excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple assignments with minimal supervision.
- Collect payments from clients for USCIS/EOIR filing fees and for Attorney legal fees.
- Obtain legal documents and information from governmental agencies as required on behalf of Perdomo Dorsett Immigration Law and other entities.
- Perform legal reach utilizing both local and electronic research tools.
- Develop and maintain a basic understanding of internal processes and procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
