Accounting Specialist
Description
The Accounting Specialist will be a valuable contributor to the Accounting Team and will
support all activities related to accounting operations. This position will coordinate
between the Operations Team and various departments including Real Estate,
Construction, and Finance to deliver timely, accurate reporting. The position is located
in the Boulder, CO area.
Essential Responsibilities
Process invoice and land option payments
Process expense reimbursement
Support for full cycle accounting
Administrative support
HR support
Data entry and spreadsheet updates as needed
Willingness to take on additional tasks and responsibilities
Required Skills/ Experience
Exceptional communication skills needed, as you will be required to speak to
vendors and landowners to verify banking information and coordinate with
external parties on contract processes.
Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Mid-level accounting skills or higher preferred.
Experience coordinating the contracting processes between internal managers,
counterparties, and external legal teams.
Experience with various types of contracts pertaining to the energy industry,
including leases, land options, NDAs, MSA, consulting agreements, etc. a plus.
Business, accounting, or finance degree preferred.
Intermediate computer skills with working knowledge of ERP software and MS
Excel, Word, and Power Point.
Standout Skills/ Experience
Tax Equity and Waterfall experience a significant plus.
Paralegal experience a plus.
Industry experience in energy, development, construction, or public accounting.
Experience with startups or in fast-growth environments.
Salary: 75-100k per annum based on experience
Bonus: This position may be eligible to receive an annual cash incentive bonus capped
at a % of your base salary and on your performance review.
