What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Receivable Specialist position at Peregrine Property Management?
- Apply customer payments and tenant rent payments
- Enter charges accurately and correct any problems with customer/tenant accounts
- Prepare daily bank deposit through bank scanner and bank trips
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies
- Support AP Specialist in processing and printing checks weekly.
- Create and maintain orderly files.
- Provide support to office operations to include answering phones, retrieving and sporting the amil, accepting deliveries, bookkeeping support, and greeting visitors.
- Perform other general office duties as required including backup support to AP as directed.
- Complete special projects/assignments as assigned by the Controller.
- Previous experience in property management a plus
- Proven experience as an office manager, office assistant, or Bookkeeper
- Knowledge of computer systems (fast learner to new software)
- Working knowledge of office equipment
- Thorough understanding of office management procedures
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, word & excel
- Able to work independently
- Bachelor's (Preferred)
- Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred)
- Rent Manager and QuickBooks experience (Preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (Preferred)
