POSITION SUMMARY :
The Operations Program Manager will be tasked with developing and overseeing high-level organizational programs, functional projects and leading a technical team to support Oceanview’s strategic direction. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to partner across the organization to assist with implementing strategic initiatives. The individual should be comfortable sharing ideas, building relationships, and delivering high quality and impactful results to stakeholders while maintaining a standard of operational excellence.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Oversee a diverse technical outcome-based team ensuring operations programs and organizational goals are planned and delivered successfully.Implement reporting to track key metrics and overall delivery of key initiatives.Identify, document requirements and implementation strategies for new product rollouts, processes, initiatives, platform integrations, and external vendor services.Develop new programs and assign staff to support the strategic direction of the organization.Strategize, implement, and maintain program initiatives that adhere to Oceanview’s organizational objectives.Cross-collaboration with Oceanview departments to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects and initiatives.Implement and manage changes and interventions to ensure initiatives are achieved.Work with stakeholders to streamline decisions on services and platforms.Communicate and present to management regarding business initiative statuses.Participate in ongoing business process standardization.Stay ahead of industry best practices in operational excellence, bringing new ideas and approaches to enhance our efficiency.Maintain standard of operational excellence.Qualifications :
Experience managing and developing a team.General knowledge of Insurance / Annuity eApp and Illustration platforms (AnnuityNet, FireLight, Affirm), Producer training platforms (RegEd, SureLC), DTCC file layouts and infrastructure, Salesforce APIs, ServiceNow.Ability to collaborate with and manage remote partners and coworkers.Proven skills overseeing large-scale technology projects managing tight deadlines.Proficient knowledge of MS Project (and / or other project management tools), Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce CRM.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Strong interpersonal and communication skills with sound judgement and decision makingProven ability and expertise to strategically address, analyze, influence, and provide solutions.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business administration or related field.PMP certification preferredMinimum 8 years of high-level strategic Project / Program Management experience.Insurance / annuity industry experience preferred.Exceptional project management, analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively.Strong working knowledge of project management platforms and Salesforce CRM.Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities.LOCATION AND COMPENSATION :
This role will be based in Denver, CO.This role will be Hybrid (Tues, Wed, Thurs in the office)Salary range for Denver is $116,000 to $149,000.This role is eligible for a discretionary year-end bonus.Salary may vary based on work experience, market conditions, location, and qualifications / training.
