Position Overview:
The Account Manager at Ceres Landcare is a key client-facing role responsible for maintaining and growing strong relationships with clients while ensuring the delivery of high-quality landscaping services. This position combines customer service, sales, and project management skills to oversee accounts, drive client satisfaction, and contribute to the overall success of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, fostering trust and satisfaction.
- Conduct regular check-ins with clients to ensure their landscaping needs and expectations are met or exceeded.
- Address client concerns and resolve service issues promptly
Account Oversight:
- Manage all aspects of client accounts, including budgeting, service schedules, and contract renewals.
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure timely delivery of landscaping services.
- Monitor the performance of projects to meet quality standards and deadlines.
Sales and Business Development:
- Identify opportunities to expand services within existing accounts.
- Work with the sales team to develop proposals for new services or projects.
- Assist in generating new business leads and converting prospects into long-term clients.
Team Coordination:
- Communicate client expectations and requirements to the field and operations teams.
- Provide leadership and support to crews, ensuring alignment with client goals.
- Participate in regular team meetings to align on client needs and operational priorities.
Administrative Duties:
- Prepare and manage account documentation, including service agreements, invoices, and performance reports.
- Utilize CRM and other company software to track account activities and maintain accurate records.

EDUCATION/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Prefer bachelor’s degree in Ag Business, Horticulture, Ag Science, Landscape Maintenance, Agronomy, Floriculture, Forestry, Plant and Soil Science, Environmental Design, Turf Grass or Landscape Architecture
- Customer service experience – able to identify and resolve customer concerns.
- Maintaining open lines of communication with internal staff
NEEDED ATTRIBUTES:
- Savvy, able to sell, and speak to a high standard of Ceres products.
- Extroverted and multi-tasking individual.
- Possess an entrepreneurial spirit with drive and ambition.
- Strong work ethic
- Proficient with computer software programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize job duties and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
