Position Overview:
As the Director of Marketing Operations, you will lead the implementation of marketing technologies, analytics frameworks, and scalable processes to support Perennial’s growing portfolio of brands. This role will oversee website development and optimization, manage vendor relationships, and ensure marketing efforts are data-driven and measurable. You will play a critical role in connecting marketing strategies to business outcomes, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and growth across the network, and work closely with our PSG content marketing resources to ensure alignment across our marketing strategy. The role will report to the Chief Revenue Officer.
Key Responsibilities
Analytics and Reporting
- Develop and maintain a system for tracking and analyzing marketing performance metrics, including Return on Ad Spend (ROAS), Cost Per Lead (CPL), Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), and conversion rates.
- Establish performance benchmarks and identify improvement levers for ROAS, CPL, and CAC.
- Work with external vendors to build and optimize closed-loop attribution in HubSpot, linking marketing activities to sales outcomes.
- Create actionable dashboards in HubSpot and PowerBI, and regular reporting frameworks to provide insights to marketing and sales leaders.
Website Development and Optimization
- Support the buildout of standardized website templates using HubSpot or WordPress CMS, ensuring scalability and consistency across the network.
- Oversee the redevelopment of websites as new partners are integrated into the network, ensuring alignment with PSG’s brand standards and strategic goals.
- Monitor website performance, including traffic, engagement, and conversion metrics, to identify and implement improvements.
- Optimize websites for on-page and technical SEO, enhancing visibility and driving organic traffic.
Agency and Vendor Management
- Manage relationships with external agencies responsible for paid ad campaigns, SEO, and web dev.
- Define and track KPIs for agency-delivered work, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Provide feedback on creative assets and campaign strategies to ensure quality and consistency.
Marketing Technology Management
- Oversee the setup, maintenance, and optimization of HubSpot and other marketing platforms, ensuring seamless integration with sales and operational tools.
- Drive the adoption of marketing technologies across the organization to improve efficiency and reporting.
- Stay informed about emerging marketing tools and trends to identify opportunities for upgrades.
Budget and Resource Management
- Support the development and management of local marketing budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to maximize ROI
- Evaluate the cost-effectiveness of marketing spend across campaigns and vendors, and make recommendations to increase/decrease budgets based on measurable outcomes

Qualifications and Experience
- 6–10 years of experience in marketing operations, analytics, or related roles.
- Strong expertise in HubSpot or similar CRM/marketing platforms.
- Proven track record of managing website development and optimization projects.
- Deep knowledge of performance metrics such as ROAS, CPL, and CAC, with experience in attribution modeling and reporting.
- Demonstrated success in managing external agencies and vendor relationships.
- Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience in the residential services or multi-brand industries is a plus.
