Childcare Director
Education & Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years old
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of Associate's in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education with 6 mos. of teacher & programmatic exp. Or
- Nursing degree with a minimum of 12 ECE college credits with 2 years of teaching and programmatic experience. Or
- CDA or Certificate in Early Education with 5 years of teacher experience and 1 year of programmatic director/asst. director experience.
- Experience with planning, budgeting, monitoring and supervisory
- Must be familiar with VDOE Licensing standards
Skills & Qualifications:
- Excellent Customer Services skills
- Great Leadership skills
- Manger & Supervisory skills
- Understanding of child care center operations
Certifications:
- Adult/Pediatric CPR & First Aid (willing to obtain)
- MAT training (willing to obtain)
- Food Manager training (willing to obtain)
Duties:
- Manage Program, Center and support staff
- Daily operations of Center
- Ensure safety of children, staff and facility
- Comply with State and Company policies and procedures
- Adhere to VDOE/VDSS Licensing Standards
- Administrative duties
Hours:
Full-time, Monday-Friday
Salary:
Based upon education, training and experience.
