Our new and growing family-oriented Chiropractic Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Chiropractic Assistant/ Receptionist to join our dynamic clinic team to help us change lives in our practice. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting our Chiropractic and Massage professionals and ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for our patients. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced medical office environment.
Duties
- Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist with the check-in process.
- Schedule appointments using a Chiropractic electronic health record (EHR) scheduling software, ensuring optimal use of the clinic's calendar.
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing and maintaining organized patient files and maintaining accurate patient records within an EHR system.
- Assist with patient intake by collecting necessary information and updating medical histories.
- Be involved in Creating Social Media photos and videos.
- Handle Basic Health Insurance Questions/Issues.
- Manage phone systems to handle incoming calls, answer inquiries, and provide information about services.
- Balance income/cash drawer/electronic accounts.
- Ensure the clinic environment is clean, organized, and conducive to patient comfort.
- Collaborate with Chiropractic and Massage Therapy staff to ensure efficient patient flow throughout the clinic.
Skills
- Proficiency in medical office procedures and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems (Preferred).
- Strong Computer Skills/ Ability to troubleshoot with technology on the fly.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Strong ability to communicate with diverse patient populations.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for managing appointments and patient records.
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining professionalism and empathy towards patients.
- Experience with medical scheduling is preferred but not mandatory.
Education
- High School or equivalent (Preferred)
Work Location & Hours
- In Person
- Office Hours are Monday – Thursday 8-12:30 and 1:30-6 pm.
- Company paid travel to team trainings ~4x/year.
