Job Description:
As an Airbnb Cleaning Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that properties are cleaned, sanitized, and presented to the highest standard before guests arrive. Your attention to detail and ability to efficiently complete tasks will directly impact guest satisfaction and the success of our clients’ listings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize guest areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living rooms, and hallways.
- Ensure all linens (sheets, towels, etc.) are clean, fresh, and properly replaced.
- Wipe down surfaces, sanitize high-touch areas, and clean appliances.
- Perform deep cleaning tasks, such as vacuuming, dusting, and scrubbing as needed.
- Restock essential supplies (e.g., toiletries, paper towels) for guest use.
- Ensure all windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces are streak-free and spotless.
- Report any maintenance issues or damage to the property to management.
- Follow a detailed cleaning checklist to ensure consistency and high-quality service.
- Follow all health and safety procedures related to cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with management and team members about cleaning progress and schedules.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in cleaning, preferably in vacation rental properties or hospitality.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality.
- Reliable transportation to travel to client properties.
- Flexibility in scheduling, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to lift and carry cleaning supplies and materials (up to [X] lbs).
- Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and techniques.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with Hospitality, Airbnb or vacation rental properties.
- Certification in cleaning (e.g., IICRC) is a plus, but not required.
