What are the responsibilities and job description for the Military Repairs Specialist position at Perform Air International Inc.?
Perform Air International is an FAA aviation repair station. We are looking for a Military Repairs Specialist to source and purchase products that are essential for our company’s United States military contracts. You will have the responsibility of initiating, confirming, and expediting all repair orders.
Responsibilities
· Research and sources potential vendors within the quality paraments set forth in the military contract
· Track orders and ensure timely delivery
· Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases
· Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
Skills
· Proven work experience as a Buyer or Purchasing Clerk in a similar role. Previous military contract experience preferred.
· Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors)
· Understanding of supply chain procedures
· Solid analytical skills, with the ability to create reports and conduct cost analyses
· Negotiation skills
Successful candidate must be a United States citizen.
Daytime position. Monday through Friday. Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour DOE.Insurance and 401K available
