Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor daily activities of field operations.
- Schedule meetings with Field Maintenance Managers as appropriate.
- Assure aircraft repairs are on schedule and within budget.
- Coordinate and assist with daily Field Maintenance oversight.
- Advise maintenance supervisors in matters concerning aircraft maintenance and/or personnel activities.
- Keep the President and Director of Operations appraised of unforeseen problems, conditions, and/or developments.
- Communicate with the office team ensuring equipment and stock products are available as needed.
- Conduct field base visits and hold meetings with personnel.
- Ensure the company’s policies and safety procedures remain in compliance.
- Participate in Maintenance Operational and Production/Planning Meetings.
- Maintain and administer changes to Operations Specifications as appropriate.
- Oversee new hire and recurrent training program with the assistance of Human Resources and Quality departments.
Qualification Requirements:
- Must be a United States Citizen.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Hold a Mechanic Certification with an Airframe or both Airframe and Power plant.
- Basic to intermediate computer skills including MS Office
- At least 10 years of maintenance experience on large wide body aircraft.
- Aircraft fuel systems and Military aviation experience are helpful.
- Leadership experience with 5 years in the Aviation/Aerospace maintenance industry.
- Knowledge of the maintenance sections of company manuals, Operations Specifications, FAA regulations and FAR’s.
- Possess basic skills in communications, management, and leadership.
- Possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
