About the role
The Business Banker utilizes a combination of sales experience and a knowledge of banking products and services to both attract and retain clients, while also possessing the experience to directly execute on serving their needs. Demonstrates strong knowledge and experience in Commercial Lending, and is able to directly help clients with aspects related to lending. This role serves as both a means to bring new business to the Bank’s portfolio, as well as service client needs in relation to commercial lending, including business banking, SBA, and other banking needs.
Position is located in Henderson and is not a remote position.
What you will do
- Builds relationships with key members of the community, building a network while continuing to service the needs of our existing customers.
- Executes sales strategies to increase commercial lending revenue and deposit growth.
- Demonstrates flexibility to assist customers on a variety of topics, including selection of deposit accounts, loans, and other products and financial services.
- Acts as a main point of contact for current customers and provides a high level of service ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Promotes and supports deposit origination/growth and offers cash management services.
- Possesses a strong knowledge of Bank products and diligently identifies opportunities to recommend products and services to existing and new clients.
- Evaluates client/applicant’s needs and credit to determine appropriate lending decision or product for their unique situation.
- Other duties as assigned.
What you will need
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field preferred or relevant experience.
- 3-5 years successful sales experience in a goal-oriented environment preferred.
- A desire to work within the community and offer solutions as suited.
- Strong communication and negotiating skills.
- 2 years of commercial related lending desired.
- Strong understanding of banking policies and regulations.
