Job Description
Performance Contracting is seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to perform administrative functions for its PCI Houston 115 operations based in Pasadena, TX.
Primary responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Assist in accurate and timely payroll-processing and account payables
Assist with New Hire orientation, as needed
Process travel & expense reports
Perform routine data entry with a high level of accuracy
Assist in customer billing and collection of past due accounts
Maintain vendor relations by delivering excellent customer service via phone and email
Maintain organized records of all communications, invoices, purchase orders, and more
Assist in contract management and provide support to Branch Manager, Project Managers, and Estimators as needed
Basic Requirements:
Must have at least 3 years’ experience in an administrative role
Must have proficiency with advanced functions in Microsoft Excel (i.e., pivot tables, macros, VLOOKUP, formulas, etc.)
Demonstrates a proactive approach with the ability to multitask or pivot between tasks
Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
Displays excellent verbal and written communication skills
Showcases robust customer service and interpersonal skills with ability to create strong relationships
Exhibits strong organization skills and attention to detail
Employs critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Maintains accountability for completing work according to established deadlines
Must be adaptable and willing to support various administrative functions
Displays eagerness to acquire new skills and implement them quickly and effectively
Demonstrates a positive attitude and strong sense of professionalism
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams
Preferred Requirements:
Associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, finance, or similar field of study is preferred
Experience working in the construction industry is preferred
Experience with purchasing is a plus
Familiarity with Power BI is a plus
Familiarity with Box content management platform is a plus
Local to the Houston metro area preferred
