What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Engineer position at Performance Contracting Group?
Performance Contracting is seeking a motivated Field Engineer for its Seattle operations based in Moses Lake, WA. This individual will:
Input project information into Excel and Bluebeam.
Create and manage punch lists.
Assist with the preparation of RFI’s and submittals.
Assist with managing labor control on the project.
Assist with isometric completion tracking
Project scope tracking and updating
Cost tracking and reporting
Labor control
Assist in preparation of quantity take-offs for material ordering.
Maintain accurate and timely project documentation and correspondence.
Track and cost-value material handling and purchasing.
Pay range: $25-35/hr
This position is safety-sensitive.
Basic Requirements:
At least 1 year professional work experience as a Project Assistant, Project Manager, or similar.
Currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or related discipline, or comparable work experience.
Minimum Requirements:
Demonstrates strong work ethic through previous internships or work experience
Displays proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
A clear understanding of how to read and understand specifications and drawings
Effective oral and written communication skills
Possesses organizational skills
Willingness to take initiative
Exhibits strong customer service skills and an ability to work collaboratively with others
Track record of meeting project deadlines
Ability to learn new job skills by engaging in the technical aspects of the job and applying new skills as they are taught
Preferred Requirements:
Experience or knowledge within the construction industry
Experience with invoicing/accounting functions is a plus
Working knowledge of Box and Bluebeam preferred
Local to the Bellingham area
