We are seeking a Senior Branch Controller to join our Washington DC 566 branch located in Ashburn, VA . This dynamic role combines financial controllership responsibilities with strategic financial planning and analysis (FP&A) to support the growth of our company in the specialty construction industry. This position must partner and communicate with the local and regional executive team and lead the financial operations for one of the largest markets within the company.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Lead the development and management of the branch's annual budget, monthly forecasts and overall financial planning process.
- Manage the strategic financial vision of the branch and be the knowledge expert on the overall financial direction, both short-term and long-term.
- Provide in-depth analysis of financial performance and profitability by identifying trends, risks and opportunities within assigned markets.
- Partner with project managers and branch leadership to assess the financial impact of ongoing and future projects.
- Continuously add value to company and branch leadership by providing financial insights into strategic decision making (e.g., capital assets and other investment decisions).
- Collaborate with branch departments (Operations, Estimating and Administration) to ensure alignment on financial and operational goals.
