We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Estimator to join our team in Rosharon Tx. In this role, you will work under the direction of an estimating manager to develop comprehensive proposals that meet client requirements.
To succeed in this position, you will need a strong background in estimating, preferably with a BS in Engineering, Construction Management, or other equivalent discipline. Relevant industry experience and excellent communication skills are essential.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing detailed proposals that incorporate cost, technical, and commercial responses
- Generating technical submittals as required by clients
- Completing accurate manual takeoffs of civil, concrete, piping, equipment, and steel
- Interpreting specifications for material and labor pricing purposes
- Applying Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) elements to estimate
- Contacting subcontractors, suppliers, and specialty services for quotes
