POSITION SUMMARY
The Superintendent is responsible for supervising and coordinating activities and projects of workers and their helpers. This role ensures that all procedures are followed and that all assigned employees are performing their duties as directed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Lead and manage a team by training, developing and coaching employees on a consistent basis
- Analyze bids, blueprints and job completion dates for job assignments to fully comprehend the total scope of the project
- Supervise the progress of assigned jobs/projects each day to ensure safety and proper working conditions on the job site
- Recommend improvements in programs, procedures, schedules and personnel to increase job/project quality and efficiency in order to meet deadlines
- Evaluate and plan installation and construction of equipment and structures as well as estimating material and worker requirements to complete the job/project
- Maintain adequate records regarding time worked by crew, time and material (T & M) tickets and equipment utilized on the job weekly as specified by company policy
- Report any problems with assigned projects, equipment needs, material defects, safety hazards and personnel immediately
- Obey and follow all safety rules and policies
- Wear all appropriate safety equipment (PPE)
- Perform all other duties as assigned by manager and/or supervisor
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- High School diploma or equivalent education
- 5 years working within the Oil & Gas Industry preferred with at least 2 years in a similar position
- Basic level written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to perform basic mathematical skills
- Experience in Adobe, Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook
- Must have excellent organizational skills, ability to work in a fast paced environment under pressure, maintain honesty and integrity and have great time mangement skills
- For new hires, must meet all Performance Energy Services employment qualifications in force at time of hiring, including successful completion of a background investigation and pre-employment drug screen
- For new hires, must successfully complete all required training by Performance Energy Services
