Offshore Scaffolder
POSITION SUMMARY
The Scaffolder is responsible for erecting and dismantling scaffolding to provide work platforms and handrails on building or industrial sites or for temporary structures such as stages, seating and catwalks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Check the construction requirements from drawings and written instructions
- Select materials and set ground levels for projects
- Fit together steel pipes, support braces and clamps to form bases for scaffolds
- Lift and position sections of scaffolding and bolt pipes together to build up scaffolding
- Place planks over horizontal bars to create platforms
- Check levels in scaffolding structures
- Dismantle scaffolding at the completion of a job
- Obey and follow all safety rules and policies
- Wear all appropriate safety equipment (PPE)
- Perform all other duties as assigned by manager and/or supervisor
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- High School diploma or equivalent education
- 1 year scaffold building experience preferred
- Basic level written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to perform basic level mathematical skills
- Must be reliable and have good time management skills
- For new hires, must meet all Performance Energy Services employment qualifications in force at time of hiring, including successful completion of a background investigation and pre-employment drug screen
- For new hires, must successfully complete all required training by Performance Energy Services
