We are seeking an experienced Automotive Maintenance Professional to join our team at Performance Foodservice. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of vehicles, including trucks and trailers, ensuring that they are in good working condition at all times.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining and repairing vehicles, including trucks and trailers, to ensure they meet safety and quality standards
- Performing inspections, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and supporting road service operations
- Servicing and repairing refrigeration units, repairing engines, repairing leaks, replacing tubing, condensers, thermal controls, and recharging units with approved refrigerant gas
- Operating electric arc welding equipment to repair ramps, ladders, and tripods, and construct new cargo bars
