Key Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of this role include:
- Performing preventative maintenance on medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, reefer units, and convertor dollies.
- Identifying root causes of basic failures/conditions and performing repairs as required.
- Completing thorough documentation for work orders of repairs and preventative maintenance through our online Enterprise Asset Management system.
- Installing, replacing, and repairing onboard computers.
- Inspecting brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, and other important parts to ensure they are in proper operating condition.
