We are seeking a skilled Diesel Fleet Maintenance Technician to join our team at Performance Foodservice. This is a hands-on position that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations, as well as more complex repairs and overhauls.
Responsibilities and Requirements
* Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
* Diagnose and repair issues with diesel engines, transmissions, and electrical systems
* Overhaul and rebuild diesel engines, transmissions, and other components
* Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles and equipment to identify potential issues
* Train and mentor junior technicians on best practices and procedures
