Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Mechanic Technician Class B to join our team at Performance Foodservice.
The successful candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair, including preventative maintenance, diagnosis, and computerized diagnostics.
The key responsibilities include performing routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries and lubricating equipment and machinery requiring the use of hand tools and power tools.
The Diesel Technician - Class B will also be responsible for installing, replacing, and repairing onboard computers and inspecting brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, and other important parts to ensure they are in proper operating condition.
