About the Position
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician - Class A to join our team at Performance Food Group. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working on medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and refrigeration units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair diesel equipment to ensure safe operation and compliance with industry standards.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, battery checks, and lubrication of equipment.
- Train and guide other Mechanics in their roles.
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of experience in medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in refrigeration and/or overhauls and rebuilds of heavy-duty diesel engines and transmissions.
