Job Summary:
The Diesel Mechanic and Repair Professional plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our fleet operations. As a Fleet Maintenance Specialist Class B, you will be responsible for repairing, maintaining, and overhauling medium to heavy-duty diesel equipment to meet strict industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair a variety of heavy-duty vehicles, including tractors, trailers, and refrigeration units.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, battery checks, and lubrication of equipment and machinery.
- Identify and diagnose issues with brakes, steering, and other critical systems.
- Install, replace, and repair onboard computers and other electronic components.
- Train and guide junior mechanics in their roles.
