Job Description:
Responsible for the development of independent account business, with emphasis on overall profitability through both new sales and account penetration. Promote and sell company branded products and meet brand sales objectives. May also supports customer service activities for regional and / or national chain customers, thereby increasing visibility of the company in the marketplace and maximizing market share. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company.The Area Manager position will perform the following duties
- Manages a geographical sales territory ensuring that independent and regional account business is developed and budgeted sales and profit objectives are achieved.
- Regularly calls on existing and potential customers.
- Develops and executes business plans.
- Effectively manages time and resources to attain results.
- Builds business through support of company branded product.
- Manages pricing and monitors credit term compliance.
Qualification:
High School Diploma or Equivalent6 months sales/marketing and/or restaurant experience
Valid driver's license required.
