Primary Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, reefer units, convertor dollies, and maintenance vehicles under minimal supervision.
- Complete overhauls and rebuilds of heavy-duty diesel engines and transmission.
- Perform preventative maintenance on minor repairs and standard component inspections/repairs of fleet diesel equipment (tractors, trailers, refrigeration units).
- Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, and other important parts to ensure they are in proper operating condition, which may require replacement of parts.
