Job Overview
As a Diesel Technician - Class A at Performance Food Group, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and refrigeration units. Responsibilities and Expectations:
- Perform diagnostic tests and repairs on diesel equipment to ensure safe operation and compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, battery checks, and lubrication of equipment.
- Mentor and train junior Mechanics in their roles.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 5-7 years of experience in medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in refrigeration and/or overhauls and rebuilds of heavy-duty diesel engines and transmissions.
