Job Description
This Diesel Mechanic Helper position is a key member of our operations team, responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular scheduled tractor inspections, complete checklists, and make routine repairs as required.
- Assist in servicing and repairing refrigeration units, repair engines, and replace tubing, condensers, thermal controls, and recharge units with approved refrigerant gas.
- Maintain required logs, records, and reports, and maintain garage tools, equipment, and work area in a clean and orderly manner.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience (6-12 months).
- Interpret data requiring advanced skills knowledge equivalent to 6-12 months training in truck/automotive maintenance.
