This Diesel Mechanic Helper position is an excellent opportunity to join our operations team and contribute to the success of our company.
Responsibilities
- Assist in troubleshooting and performing preventative maintenance on tractors and trailers, ensuring all safety and quality standards are met.
- Operate electric arc welding equipment to repair ramps, ladders, and tripods, as well as construct new cargo bars.
- Assist on road service trips, maintain required logs, records, and reports, and maintain garage tools, equipment, and work area in a clean and orderly manner.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience (6-12 months).
- Interpret data requiring advanced skills knowledge equivalent to 6-12 months training in truck/automotive maintenance.
