SUMMARY:
The Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst works with the finance team and collects and analyzes financial data to help PHM plan and make decisions. The FP&A Analyst will create financial models, reports, and forecasts, and provide insights to help the company improve its performance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Includes the following duties as well as other tasks that may be assigned as needed:
- Gather data: Collect financial and operational data from various sources, including accounting, project management, and CRM software.
- Build models: Create financial models, forecasts, and variance analyses, create budgets and ROIs for use in the Project Management Office (PMO), reconciling back to financial statements.
- Analyze data: Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Communicate results: Present financial information to stakeholders in clear, concise reports.
- Support decision-making: Provide actionable insights and recommendations for executive leadership.
- Monitor performance: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify variances and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop long-term plans: Collaborate with departments to develop long-term financial plans.
- Mentor junior analysts: Share knowledge and help junior analysts develop their skills.
- Perform any other specific duties/tasks assigned by the CFO.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; and 7 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in finance.
