Performance Initiatives in Savannah, GA is looking for one van driver to join our 8 person strong team. We are located on 2653 Causton Bluff Rd. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and reliable.
Title: Afterschool Vehicle Operator(part time) M-F 2:00pm-6:00pm
MUST BE 25 with CLEAN DRIVING RECORD, VALID GDL and submit to DRUG TESTING

JOB SUMMARY
Performance Initiatives, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to educating and mentoring others by using athletics, fitness and education as tools to achieve optimum health, while developing positive character traits.
Performance Initiatives, Inc. is an organization that focuses on working with children and youth. We take the safety and wellbeing of these children and youth very seriously. All staff members and volunteers must complete and pass a background check and Safe Sport training before beginning work at PI.
Vehicle operator is under the direct supervision of the Performance Initiatives Director. The driver operates a 12 or 15 passenger van vehicle to transport children ages 7-18 years of age where necessary and performs other transportation services in accordance with established policy and procedures.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
1. Transportschildren in the following capacities:
– After school pick up and drop off where needed
– Drive children and youth to off-site PI programs as needed/scheduled
– Drive children and youth home after program hours as needed
2. Checkstheoperatingsystemofthevandailytoinsuresafeoperatingconditionsofthebrakes,steering, lights, horn, windshield wipers, first aid equipment, and fireextinguisher.
3. Maintains order and discipline of thevehicle.
4. Enforce and maintain passenger rules and safety procedures at all times.
5. Must be able to obtain First Aid and CPRcertification.
6. Performs all other duties asassigned.
COMPETENCIES
1. Be familiar with surrounding area and able to read amap.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
1. Education: High school diploma or GEDrequired.
2. Must have good oral, written, and auditory skills, to effectively communicate with persons receiving services.
3. Must be 25 years of age or older with a clean driving record
4. Must have a valid Georgia Driver’s License, reliable transportation, and current insurance.

SALARY/BENEFITS
$15.00 to $17 per hour (based on experience)
