Salary: $500 to $800 week

Job Summary:

Performance One Security is seeking a dedicated and reliable Armed Security Patrol Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for patrolling assigned areas, monitoring security systems, and ensuring the safety and security of property, assets, and personnel. This position requires vigilance, strong communication skills, and the ability to respond to emergencies promptly and effectively while maintaining a professional and composed demeanor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to ensure the security of buildings, grounds, and personnel.
• Monitor security equipment (such as cameras, alarms, and access control systems) to detect and respond to security threats or breaches.
• Respond to emergencies, including but not limited to, intrusions, accidents, medical situations, or fire alarms.
• Enforce security protocols and company policies, ensuring compliance with all security regulations and procedures.
• Report all security incidents, suspicious activities, and violations in detail through accurate documentation and reports.
• Provide assistance to personnel, visitors, or clients by maintaining a visible and approachable presence.
• Perform regular checks on doors, windows, gates, and other access points to ensure they are secure.
• Escort individuals as needed for safety or security purposes.
• Be prepared to respond to potentially dangerous situations, using appropriate force in accordance with company guidelines and legal requirements.
• Maintain firearms and security equipment in good working order, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Work with local law enforcement or emergency personnel when necessary during incidents or emergencies.
• Ensure adherence to company uniform standards and professional conduct at all times.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid armed security guard license or firearm permit (as required by state or local laws).
• Previous experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military service preferred.
• Knowledge of security operations, emergency procedures, and risk management techniques.
• Ability to handle high-pressure and emergency situations calmly and effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, employees, and the public.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while remaining vigilant and proactive.
• Ability to pass background checks, drug testing, and physical fitness evaluations.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certifications in security or law enforcement preferred.
• Must be physically fit and capable of performing physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, walking long distances, and responding to emergencies.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods while patrolling.
• Ability to respond quickly to incidents, including running, lifting, and carrying objects.
• Ability to lift and carry equipment up to [X] pounds.
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions, including rain, heat, and cold.

Work Conditions:

• Must be available to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be prepared to work in outdoor environments and handle various security situations.
• Will be required to carry and maintain firearms as part of the job responsibilities in accordance with company policies and state laws.
