South Florida Territory - Sales Manager / Account Executive
You must reside in the Fort Lauderdale / Miami region of Florida.
Performance Sales & Marketing is a Tampa based, CPG (consumer packaged goods) sales agency covering both the grocery and convenience classes of trade for the state of Florida. We are privately held and have been in business for nineteen years. We are proud to represent a diversified assortment of leading national manufacturers from the snack, confection, HBC / GM and beverage categories. Your Experience :
3-5 years of business-to-business sales experience in CPG selling
Experience selling to both direct and indirect customers
Extensive understanding of multi-channel selling
Understanding of trade and forecasting
A solid understanding of multiple distribution methods to get to customers; such as direct shipping and various 3rd party suppliers
Strong ability in PowerPoint and Excel and would consider yourself a data-savvy sales professional
Thorough understanding of trade math, promotional planning, and forecast rationale
Territory manager for established CPG food brokerage firm. Responsible for calling on and managing wholesaler and retailer accounts for multiple clients simultaneously.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities :
Grow territory sales
Deliver clients represented sales plans and go to market strategies within the territory
Manage and execute clients budgets for territory accounts
Selling in of plans, programs and new items
Collaborate with business managers, buyers and owners of customers within territory
Present results from recent / previous sales calls and business meetings
Become a subject-matter expert for all clients represented
Plan, conduct & host regular business reviews with key customers within territory
Ability to think and act strategically, analyze data and make informed recommendations
