Duties, Tasks and Responsibilities
Leadership & Management
- Provide overall leadership to the project team from subcontractor procurement through close-out to contribute to a safe, profitable & timely completed project, while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Manage controls project budget and track all costs to provide monthly financial forecasts to project team.
- Conduct and participate in onsite subcontractor and owner progress/coordination.
- Work with Sales and Design team to ensure project scope and budget align with customer expectations.
- Maintain communication with customer throughout project from kick-off through close-out.
- Communicate with Design team and Subcontractors to proactively solve constructability.
- Work with the Project Team to create and plan the temperature controls schedule for each project and update progress throughout the project.
- Provide projections of materials and equipment.
- Provide reports on timeline, progress & adjustments to project team and project.
- Estimate temperature controls project installation costs.
- Manage documentation, correspondence, and observations for projects via project management software.
- Manage onsite installation of temperature control system with onsite subcontractors, internal staff, and project team.
- Conduct sales and engineering site surveys and manage building temperature controls evaluations.
- Ensure quality construction exceeds company standards and proper industry techniques and processes are utilized, while ensuring the client’s needs and wants are efficiently met.
- Work with design team to ensure the project is constructed in accordance with the contract requirements and design intent.
- Support company onsite safety plans to ensure all work meets safety guidelines and OSHA standards.
- Manage and oversee delivery of temperature controls materials and equipment.
- Work with subcontractors to plan, organize and direct daily site construction
- Procure subcontractor and equipment
- Negotiate contracts with vendors & subcontractors.
- Provide overall contract administration through close-out of assigned projects for electrical and turnkey controls subcontractors.
- Write electrical and turnkey controls subcontractor scopes of work and bidding
- Provide assistance in the estimating process to the Design/Estimating team to help ensure
- Proactively communicate with the project team to ensure that everyone is informed of necessary information.

- This position may require travel with possible overnights.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree with accounting or business classes preferred.
- Prefer 5 years of knowledge and experience with construction accounting practices.
- Experience or knowledge of lien waiver and insurance requirements, subcontractor insurance verification, and W-9 requirements.
- Experience with spreadsheets required.
- Experience with PDF programs required.
- Experience or knowledge of standard contract terms and conditions.
- Experience or knowledge of project structure in a construction environment.
- Experience with Timberline Software or other accounting platforms is a plus.
- Experience with Procore Construction Management software is a plus but not necessary. However, Procore certification will be required at some point.
