Position Summary:
We’re seeking a highly analytical, tech-savvy Analyst to join our investment team. This role offers hands-on exposure to the full investment lifecycle—from sourcing and diligence to portfolio strategy and value creation—within a collaborative, fast-moving environment. You’ll help identify the next generation of breakout B2B SaaS companies and work closely with management teams to help them grow.
Key Responsibilities:
Deal Sourcing & Market Research
- Conduct deep, thematic research into SaaS verticals and emerging tech trends
- Help identify and track high-potential founder-led and bootstrapped businesses
- Support outreach to founders, CEOs, bankers, and other deal intermediaries
Investment Analysis & Execution
- Build detailed financial and SaaS-specific operating models (e.g., ARR, NRR, CAC, LTV)
- Analyze product, market fit, retention metrics, customer cohorts, and unit economics
- Assist in due diligence and investment memo preparation for IC presentations
- Coordinate with third-party advisors on legal, financial, and tech diligence
Portfolio Company Support
- Monitor and analyze KPI dashboards, investor updates, and financial reports
- Support strategic initiatives like pricing optimization, GTM expansion, and M&A
- Collaborate with CEOs and operating partners on growth initiatives and reporting
Internal Initiatives
- Help refine sourcing strategies, CRM tracking, and deal pipeline management
- Support fundraising, LP reporting, and preparation of firm materials as needed
Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of experience in investment banking, growth equity, private equity, corporate development, or SaaS-focused consulting
- Deep understanding of B2B SaaS metrics, business models, and industry dynamics
- Exceptional financial modeling skills, including cohort analysis and retention modeling
- Strong communication and presentation skills—able to synthesize complex ideas clearly
- Highly organized, self-directed, and able to thrive in a lean team environment
- Passion for technology and curiosity about how software businesses scale
