What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bookkeeper position at Peri Landscape Construction & Materials, Inc.?
Job Position:
The full charge bookkeeper is responsible for all aspects of accounting, including A/P, A/R, payroll, and project accounting. The bookkeeper interfaces with our tax accountant, assists with preparing financial statements, and files state and payroll taxes. The bookkeeper also interfaces with our insurance agent for insurance policy maintenance, including health insurance policies and enrollment. Other responsibilities as needed.
Experience & Qualifications:
Required: 3-5 experience with bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial accounting, or similar. Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop, Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat. Ability to become a notary public required. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
Associate or bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting a plus. Human resource experience preferred. Intermediate to advanced skills in excel preferred. Experience or comfort with IT is a bonus.

Peri Landscape is a small, local landscape construction company that has been in business in the Reno area since 1994. We specialize in industrial and commercial landscape construction and work closely with a number of local construction companies. Our office is a small one, with plenty of opportunities to grow into new roles if desired, including project management.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
